Rules and Regs at A SPACE, Southampton - 2005

The Rules:

• Explore the evolution and identity of the vault space.
• Reveal or conceal.
• Consider your piece to stand alone whilst aware that it is one stop on a journey.

Each artist created a new work in a different medieval vault under Southampton's old town. Audience gathered at the Bargate Monument Gallery and was led from vault to vault, enjoying a unique opporrtunity to see new art in unusual spaces.

Rules and Regs at a space was presented as part of Artvaults. It was a co-production of the arts organisation a space and Rules and Regs and was managed by a space and curated by Daniel Crow and Mark Gaynor.
