Rules and Regs at A SPACE, Southampton - 2008

The Rules:

• The artist must not work alone.
• The work must build upon itself over five performances.
• The work must present an autobiography.
• The work must use silence.

Each artist created a new work in a different medieval vault under Southampton's old town. Audience gathered at the Bargate Monument Gallery and was led from vault to vault, enjoying a unique opporrtunity to see new art in unusual spaces.

Rules and Regs at a space was presented as part of Artvaults. It was a co-production of the arts organisation a space and Rules and Regs and was managed by a space and curated by Mark Gaynor.
